Growth habit
Bilberry is an upright and vigorously growing dwarf shrub that can reach a height of 40 - 60 cm and a width of 40 - 60 cm.

Water
The plant needs plenty of water. Do not allow the soil to dry out.

Location
Preferred location in a sunny to semi-shady position.

Soil
Vaccinium myrtillus prefers nutrient-rich, sufficiently moist soil.

Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).

Care
Fruit trees planted in spring must be watered generously throughout the summer. Well-rooted plants only require additional water in extremely dry conditions.
