Care
- If watered less frequently but thoroughly and penetratingly, the plant roots are encouraged to penetrate into deeper soil layers. This enables the plant to survive dry periods better. - Preventive snail defence is advisable, as this plant is unfortunately very popular with snails.

Sanguisorba officinalis 'Pink Tanna' forms pink flowers arranged in spikes from June.
