Description
This bushy, broad-growing shrub usually reaches a height of 50 - 60 cm and a width of 70 to 90 cm. A semi-shady (to shady) location and well-drained, nutrient-rich, acidic soil create optimal conditions for healthy growth.

Care
- Yellow leaves on rhododendrons can be a sign of too high a lime content in the soil. Iron and magnesium fertiliser, for example, can help. - This plant should only be watered with lime-free water. Rainwater is particularly suitable for this purpose. - Cut back frozen shoots to the healthy wood as soon as there is no longer any danger of frost.

Flower
The red flowers appear from May to June. They grow to around 2 - 3 cm in size.
