Care
- Too much fertiliser damages the herb flavour! Herbs are well cared for in planters if they are given herb fertiliser once in spring. When planted out in the garden, a dose of compost at the start of the season is sufficient. - If the plant is divided every 2-3 years and weak roots and shoots are removed, the reward is better growth and flowering vigour!

Flower
Suitable for consumption. Origanum vulgare 'Compactum' forms bell-shaped, pink-coloured flowers arranged in panicles from July. These exude a pleasant fragrance.
