Care
- Excess water must be able to drain away easily; waterlogging should be avoided at all costs. - Cut and saw wounds as well as broken branches should be treated as quickly as possible with a wound sealant to prevent pathogens from entering the plant.

The yellow-red flowers appear in panicles from April to May.
