Description
The creamy white flower plumes adorn this grass from summer onwards. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 25 cm and grows up to 30 cm wide.
Synonym
Synonyms (botanical): Festuca glauca.
Growth habit
Compact, cushion-forming.
Water
This plant has a low water requirement.
Location
Preferred location in a sunny position.
Soil
Normal soil.
Planting time
Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).
Care
If watered less frequently but thoroughly and thoroughly, the plant roots are encouraged to penetrate into deeper soil layers. This enables the plant to survive dry periods better.
Flower
The creamy white flowers appear from June to July.
