Growth habit
Escallonia 'Red Elf' is shrub-like in structure.

Soil
Standard container plant soil. Normal soil.

Planting time
Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).

Care
Over time, the soil loses some important properties. The plants should therefore be replanted every two years in spring in a larger pot with fresh container plant soil.

Flower
The carmine-red flowers appear from May to August.
