Decorative cones adorn Cunninghamia lanceolata from August. This shrub tolerates frost well.

Growth habit
Cunninghamia lanceolata can reach a height of 15 - 20 m and a width of 6 - 10 m.

Water
The plant has a medium water requirement.

Location
Preferred location in a sunny to semi-shady position.

Soil
Cunninghamia lanceolata thrives on all acidic, humus-rich and sufficiently moist soils.

Planting time
Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).

Care
- This plant is susceptible to snow pressure. In snowy areas, it is therefore advisable to wrap the branches with string. Otherwise, they may split apart and not fully recover. When the snow season is over, the twine must of course be removed. - This plant should not be pruned. Only broken or diseased branches should be removed in summer.
