Alpine clematis 'Tage Lundell' is a creeping, climbing plant that can reach a height of 2.2 - 3.3 m and a width of 1 - 1.5 m.

The magenta-coloured, bell-shaped flowers appear from April to June. They grow to about 5 - 10 cm in size.
