Carex osh. 'Evergold' - 1.5 Ltr pot

Description
The yellow flower fronds adorn this grass from spring onwards. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 30 cm and grows up to 35 cm wide.

Synonyms (botanical): Carex hachijoensis 'Evergold', Carex ornithopoda 'Evergold'.

Growth habit
Overhanging, upright.

Water
Water regularly and allow the soil to dry out in the meantime.

Location
Preferred location in semi-shady to shady position.

Soil
Standard container plant soil. Normal soil.

Planting time
Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).

Care
- Frozen shoots are cut back to the healthy wood as soon as there is no longer any danger of frost. - In harsh locations, protection from the sun is only recommended in the event of frost.

Flower
The yellow flowers appear from April to May.
