Description
The brown flower spikes adorn this grass from summer onwards. Under favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 1 m and grows up to 60 cm wide.

Growth habit
Clump-forming.

Water
Water regularly and allow the soil to dry out in the meantime.

Preferred location in a sunny to semi-shady position.

Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).

Flower
The brown flowers appear in spikes from June to July.

Tubs, group planting, woodland edge
