Description
This upright, stocky growing shrub usually reaches a height of 40 - 60 cm and a width of 40 to 60 cm. A semi-shady (to shady) location and well-drained, nutrient-rich, acidic soil create optimum conditions for healthy growth.

Synonyms (botanical): Rhododendron obtusum 'Geisha Fumiko', Rhododendron obtusum 'Fumiko'.

Water
Water regularly and allow the soil to dry out in the meantime.

Preferred location in semi-shady to shady position.

Care
- Yellow leaves on rhododendrons can be a sign of too high a lime content in the soil. Iron and magnesium fertiliser, for example, can help.
- This plant should only be watered with lime-free water. Rainwater is particularly suitable for this purpose.
- Cut back frozen shoots to the healthy wood as soon as there is no longer any danger of frost.
