Description
This upright, stocky growing shrub usually reaches a height of 0.5 - 1.5 metres and a width of 0.5 to 1.5 metres. A semi-shady (to shady) location and a well-drained, nutrient-rich, acidic soil create optimal conditions for healthy growth.

Rainwater is particularly suitable for this purpose. - Cut back frozen shoots to the healthy wood as soon as there is no longer any danger of frost.

Flower
The red, funnel-shaped flowers appear from the beginning of May to the end of May. They grow to about 2 - 3 cm in size.
