Description
The brown flower fronds adorn this grass from summer onwards. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 1.5 m and grows up to 60 cm wide.

Growth habit
Andropogon gerardii can reach a height of 1 - 1.5 m and a width of 40 - 60 cm.

Water
Water regularly and allow the soil to dry out in the meantime.

Preferred location in a sunny position.

Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).

Flower
The brown flowers appear from August to September.
